I was assuming you already had a medium size sponge filter and you wanted to put the powerhead on the filter. If you’re wanting to use the powerhead, and then use a pre filter sponge to baffle the outflow I’m unsure of what size to use. I would assume the medium, but that’s just guess. My bad!
