twodaend
After about 2 months of my cherry shrimp settling in, I am now starting to see more baby shrimp. However, I was wondering how to estimate how old the baby shrimp are. Once you begin to see them out and about, are they a few days old, 1 week, 2 weeks? In the pictures, there are some baby shrimp and I'm just wondering how old they may be at this size for future reference. RachelElizabeth
Those baby shrimp look to be a few weeks old! At birth they are so, so tiny and nearly colorless. I will see if I can find a picture of one of mine.
RachelElizabeth
Here is one of my newborns! For reference, it is on the nano sponge filter!
twodaend
Thanks @RachelElizabeth. I had a magnifying glass and could barely make out a few that were colorless, but I could not get a photo. That's what made me wonder, about the age, especially once you see them out and about with their color.
