Stroy15
I am starting this topic on super market food in regards of what is safe for fish to eat. Is seafood ok for aquarium fish, does it matter if the sea food, shrimp or prawns is cooked, uncooked (steamed). Or whether the product have preservatives is it ok to give it as a once in a while treat? (like a small bit of shrimp for gouramis and tetras) I saw fish for though short feeding bits of shrimp/prawn to his fish. I am looking for clarification on topic? Seafood is ok although foods like smelt contain thiamine which is not healthy for fish long term. I personally don't feed cooked fish or shrimp to fish. Also recommend adding vitachem to shrimp or fish.

I usually feed emerald entre two to three times per week and pellet food and algae tablets for between days. I just thought for today maybe something different.
