smm333
I have a tank that I was hoping to add ember tetras and a peacock gudgeon to. At the moment it has a blue stiphoden goby, 3 female endlers and a bunch of juvinile mystery snails. My parameters are 7.2 pH 5 KH 7 GH and the temperature is 78.7 Everything is great for the gudgeon. The ember tetra look like all will work but they prefer a GH of 5.5-6.5. Does anyone have experience with ember tetras? Does a difference that small in GH mean I should give up my ember dream?
Nina
I have lot of tetras--mostly neon and black neons. And I have a lot of rasboras, which seem to tolerate similar parameters. I've found that my tetras can live in very low or very high GH. Mine are pretty hardy.
Galabar
Those water parameters are very good for a wide variety of fish. Ember's should be just fine.
