CJs Aquatics
Hey all, just a quick post about planaria… these cheap test tube looking traps seem to work really well, this is only after an hour or so… that’s all, 🙂 3
Guppysnail
Those do work well. The most affective bait I’ve ever found for them is pieces of raw frozen shrimp thawed and smashed up. The down side is only the hungry ones go in. So you never rid yourself of the planaria just reduce the numbers a few.

After baiting and removing the traps for several days I broke down and used shrimp a friend told me about. I almost had a heart attack at how many more the shrimp got. I was a bit freaked out that after several days of removing them there were that many left.
CJs Aquatics
@Guppysnail guess I will have to try shrimp, although they have already severely dwindled in number
