I think this is due to long fins  it can takes a lot  more energy to swim and long fined varietys are more prone to scoliosis and other spinal issues that can causes odd swimming patterns he might just be weaker than the others I would just monitor for now I don't think medication would be of any benefit at this point

We completed 5 days of epsom salt baths. No change in behavior: still lethargic; lurches tiny bit forward, then sinks; swims head up. Isn't eating the live daphnia offered to it. I think it may be wasting away 

He wasn't this way on the first day we got him; ge swam normally. Will keep him in quarantine. But, I guess he may not ever recover.

Has it any rapid breathing hanging near the surface spitting food out sunken belly
