With me wanting to breed mystery snails, i am reaching out first to try and make sure the snailets will have a home.

i contacted a friend and asked if he wanted 1 or 2, and he responded

"I could probably take 1. I don't think I have enough algae right now for more than that."
what's the best way to respond to this?
these snails CANNOT just live on algae, but im bad at phrasing these things.

@Guppysnail

how about something like:

Mystery snails are a very fun species!

However in term of diet they are more like herbivores fish, then snails, and should be target fed foods with vegetable content.

for more information, here is a great care guide from a trustworthy source with lots of experience on this species: https://forum.aquariumcoop.com/files/file/43-mystery-snail-care-sheet/ "

I would substitute this instead because your statement about herbivorous fish can be confusing

However in term of diet they eat some algae and should be target fed foods with both vegetable and protein content.
