Water condition

I was wondering if spring water from Kroger is safe to use, or do I need to add aqua safe to it like with tap water. My tap water is to soft and not enough gh for my cichlids with my tap water and the ph is to high, so I wanted to do 30-50 % spring water because it’s got good gh but I wasn’t sure if there’s chemicals in spring water that will kill the fish. I would add a water dechlorinator just for piece of mind  spring water can become contaminated because of contaminated surface water that flows though the ground
