Smspraguefarm Posted November 20, 2022 Share Posted November 20, 2022 Noticed some gray growth on crinum plant. It is a large plant that was transplanted into a newly cycled tank last week. Mmiller2001 Posted November 20, 2022 Share Posted November 20, 2022 I would remove the worst portions and then fertilize at scheduled levels and continue the course. The tank being new means the algae phase has begun. After a good 8 months, if still present, steps can be taken. All I would do right now is drop DLI (lower light intensity, reduce duration ect) and continue water changes. Limit feeding and keep the tank clear of waste and food build up.
