Any suggestions on what this is on my Gold Ram?

Anyone have any ideas on what this can be on my gold ram? I've seen it only on my gold rams presently and previous gold rams. He's been like this for months and it doesnt change. It still eats and is active just like all the others. The water parameters are exactly where they need to be and the tanks been setup for over a year.

Possible viral infection lymphocytis as it's a viral infection there no effective treatment you just have to let the virus run it's course I would try and  give him as little stress as possible give him varied diet add some seachems garlic guard to his food to boost his immune and keep stable water parameters
