TheSwissAquarist
Hi Nerms! I’m quietly starting a journal which follows my heavy breeding undertaking as I prepare for a fish swap event in March, which gives me exactly 5 months and 4 days to breed some decent stock starting from square one. In the coming weeks I’m going to attempt the following setups: 20 gal with splash tetras, endlers, and a cool snail. 20 gal (there’s a theme here) with clown killis, BN plecos, and Aeneus Corys. 10gal with snowball shrimp and Malaysian Trumpet Snails, along with any fry. 2

First accidental breeding: As soon as the fish event is over, my Assassin snails are gone! (Unless they're fun)

I always thought they were fascinating fish I'd like to someday keep. Please keep us posted on how breeding them goes!
TheSwissAquarist
Couldn't find any splash tetras; so I ordered them online; but the endlers and shrimp are alive and looking good!
PineSong
Those Endlers look fun!
TheSwissAquarist
The organisers of the aquarium event have moved it forward a month🤦♂️. Unless all my fish spawn within the next week, I have no chance of getting any sellable stock to a decent size😢. I’ll try better next year.
