Red Lilly bulb

The only real way to find out is to put them in your aquarium. Some bulbs just look weird but are just fine. If after you put them in your aquarium for a few weeks and they are mushy or smell bad contact aquarium coop.

  1. Rinse them off and place them resting on the top of the substrate. BE SURE YOU DON"T BURY THEM! (If they float let them float until they get filled with water and sink.)
  2. Once they sprout you can bury them about 3/4 of the way.
  3. You don't need to add root tabs at the very beginning as the bulb is full of nutrients.

If they don't sprout after a week:

  1. Rotate them
  2. Wait 2 weeks
  3. Contact aquarium coop for a replacement (if you bought them from aquarium coop)

Hope this helps!

Have fun!
