DaveO
This crazy dwarf sag got so long it out grew it's tank. It's 36 inches long, not counting the roots. I have plenty more so I didn't feel bad throwing it in the garbage.
flyingcow
I'm starting to wonder (as one of mine reaches 10 inches) can you trim it back effectively without killing it?
DaveO
I have trimmed it in the past. It doesn't kill it but it seems to stop its' growth. Then the algae takes over. At that point it's best to trim it to the substrate and wait for it to regrow. I have had better success trimming just the longest leaves to the ground and leaving the e shorter ones to grow. You can also wait for runners to sprout and then remove the longer plant all together like I did here.
redfish
Wow. Shame you have to toss it. At some point I hope to have too many plants too 🤣
