KittenFishMom
My Aquaneat Ultra Quiet air pump's (model AP-404, which seems to be sold under other names, like AQQA) intake filter got clogged with dust. Where do I buy a replacement filter, or what should I use to replace the filter?

KittenFishMom
@rockfisher Not yet, the guppy fish are still swimming in the tank. the drip is on one corner at the bottom. I can't see where the water is coming from. It is slow. Hoping to rehome the fish in a few days, then empty the tank. I think it is a glass tank. all edged are sealed. It feel heavy like glass, not light like plastic. I'm now sure how you can tell for sure, short of dropping it on a sidewalk.
KittenFishMom
@rockfisher oops thought you were asking about the leaking fish tank. The filter is a disk of what looks like black felt. It fits in a cup with a hole in the bottom that snaps into the bottom of the fair pump, about an inch across.
rockfisher
I was in the middle of looking for the parts list. I didn’t see the bottom but many bands have that. I hav a whisper 20 to see if I could remove and clean it. On the tank if you want to keep the fish you can get a plastic bin and put the fish in there. I breed in the bins. rockfisher
I would look as much as you can about first. That pump wasn’t working before there is a Diaphragm that need replaced. It looked and felt like a cotton circle several layers thick. I’m not sure this help much but you my not need to take it a part to get to it
KittenFishMom
@rockfisher I photoed of the bottom of air pump below. I could move the fish, but the drip is slow, so I didn't want to bother them so soon before moving them to a new home. Way stress them so soon before the move?
