Does this guppy have a tongue?

This female guppy has a high arched back and often swims pointing down, she’s been like this ever since I got her..

Today, I saw what I thought was her trying to eat, spit out, eat, spit out, repeat…., something. I observed her for quite a while and have no idea what it could be.

some time they will eat food, spit it out, and eat again etc. i believe it is that the food is too big to swallow, and they are attempting at breaking it down to swallow. i could be wrong, but that is my theory.
