Planted 5-Gallon Tank Ideas

Hello all!

I recently got into plants for my betta fish; I have a ten-gallon fully planted and a five-gallon tank that I want to put plants in. I tried growing water wisteria in it, but it didn't do too well and died. I use Easy Green fertilizer for my 10 gallon, which works awesome, and all my plants are growing well there. I'm looking for ideas on what kind of plants that I could put in my smaller tank that are different from my 10 gallon ( I have a LOT of octopus plants in there, some moss and anubias). Any suggestions are welcome; I'd prefer something low-maintenance. Thank you!

What about Java fern or varieties of bucephalandra? In my experience, all are low maintenance. I have Java fern, two types of buce, mosses, anubias and susswassertang in my 5g and they all grow like crazy with very little maintenance at all. I just occasionally trim and add liquid ferts and it's a jungle in there.

Thank you for the suggestions! I will look into those. Do they need a special plant light? I have the Aqueon 5 gallon kit that comes with an LED light.

That's exactly what I have. They're all low light plants.

I have Anubias and Java fern in my Top fin 5.5g betta tank. They are doing well with just the light that came with the kit.
