FLFishChik
Help! I seem to have an issue with my Anubias Barteri that I added on July 14th and I noticed these holes this morning and I’m not sure why. Ammonia 0ppm Nitrites 0ppm Nitrates 20 ppm (but I dose easy green once weekly) could this be normal melting. Too much light ? ( my lights run from 7am - 7pm - standard Top Fin kit Light) how do I fix it? Edited July 22, 2022 by FLFishChik Punctuation
BeeD
I would guess normal melting. All of my new anubias had some amount of melt while acclimating. It isn't quite as rough as crypt melt, but it happens. One or two lost portions of every leaf before holding fast. Personally I wouldn't worry unless the rhizome or 'roots' start showing some yellowing or decay.

I'll keep an eye on the rhizome - it looks fine for the moment
