Mary Mckinny
I am setting up a 10g tank to quarantine fish in the near future. I am wanting to obtain 4 orange Venezuelan cories and 3 mini-snowball plecos. All fish are about 1.5 inches. Will this be safe to do, or am I setting up for failure?
Vince C
Unless they are coming from the same place - quarantining them together could spread something to the others that one type might not have. Also I believe that you would be fine with those 7 fish in there, just monitor the water and possibly have to do more water changes to keep them happy. I would be comfortable having them together then - also shout out to Cory's "Med Trio" - if you haven't seen before. I have had good success with it.
