EVoyager31
So I just upgraded my goldfish tank and I’d like to get a ranchu or a lionhead ranchu to go in with my current goldfish. Thing is, buying juveniles is a lot cheaper and I like watching them grow. Would I have issues mixing sizes? Goldfish I have are as follows and sizes are approximate. oranda - 5” fantail - 6”-6.5” fantail - 3”-4” They are all peaceful, as fancy goldfish are. I just want to make sure the new guy won’t get bullied or run into any issues. I’m fairly new to fancies, though I must be doing okay because everyone (especially my largest and favorite fantail Buddy) have THRIVED and grown a lot. Any advice is appreciated! Flumpweesel
I can't see it being a problem I found adding the young ones in caused less issue as they hide and get used to the group slowly where adding older fish can cause a dominance issue. They catch up pretty fast anyway
