It's the craziest thing, I have one that grows on one side and then made a baby on the other side with absolutely no bulb through the sand. I believe they have 3 ways to propagate infaact. I looked it up when I wanted to propagate mine. Mine also has sent 1 runner. They can also rarely bloom and somehow propagate that was. Tbh, I don't remember the specifics. The 3rd way is something I did. If they established a good root system you can cut the bulb from the plant and replant.
