Flumpweesel
So I've found a space I can add fish to in my kitchen it's a spot about 2ft wide, so would you get one large or two small tanks. I can see merits to both . And has anyone used one of those corner aquariums there is one going cheap near me but I wonder if the shape is more hassle than it's worth.
Theplatymaster
the main issue with corner aquariums is they are usually tall, which doesnt provide much swimming room. Also i think having a 24in tank in a 24in area is a disaster waiting to happen

There is wiggle room with the measurements though. Good point about the hight
billango
I personally would do one larger one! Im in a similar situation and found 30 inches of space on my kitchen counter. Ended up making a 2 foot long acrylic tank but more narrow and short so it could fit well on the counter and maximize the space lol.
Hannah Parker
I think you should come up with some stocking ideas for each option and then decide which you would most prefer 🙂

But someone who wanted as many Bettas as possible or to breed a couple of different varieties of shrimp would be better served by more smaller tanks. So I haven't set my heart on any single plan.

Sounds like a 15G long rimless tank to me! Edited June 14, 2022 by nabokovfan87
