Phoenixtx01 Posted September 25, 2020 Share Posted September 25, 2020 Scored on Facebook two brand new 90 gallon tanks. I plan on heavy stocking community on one and an African Cichlids in the other. Community tank will be planted and Cichlids hardscape. Will be using the XL sponge filters with usb nano pumps, 2 per tank. My question is would you go with two aquaclear 30-50 gallon filters or one aquaclear 110 filter?? Or would each tank be different?? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Brian K Posted September 25, 2020 Share Posted September 25, 2020 I personally would do the two filters so I had more water movement in the tank. Plus the two filters should give you more surface area for beneficial bacteria to grow than just the one. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
