outspoken
Just got this Hygrophila corymbosa and noticed these black/brown spots on the stem. Something to be concerned about or normal? Edited April 14, 2021 by outspoken
Demobanana
Honestly, if I were you in this situation, me being someone who only knows that plants like light, I would just leave it. I mean, how bad could those spots be? Also kinda sounds like its going to come back and bite me in the butt, but I don't think its worth all that time for some little black dots. Ragnarok12
I also wouldn't worry too much about those black spots, it doesn't raise any alarms for me. Otherwise, the plant looks pretty good. I would just plant it, treat it like normal, and then post back here if anything unexpected or suspicious happens.
