    my bad about the silicone, meant acrylic aquarium glue (i should have caught that)

    Put the tank in your bathtub or shower and fill it up about half way (with a gallon jug) and let it sit there to see if it is leaking. If it is leaking you can go around the seem with Aquarium Safe Silicone (https://fishlab.com/aquarium-safe-silicone/). If there are no leaks, you can take a torch to the edges to clear them up.

    Can I go from tetra water care products to API water care products without any problems. I used to use API before i move 5 years ago, but where i moved to does not have a pet store that sells API, so i went to using tetra water care products. i want to go back to API.
