Looks like I brought home a snail or two with my last plant purchase. Can anyone ID the type, looks like a mystery snail from my research.

I recently got some Scarlet Badis and wanted to start a microworm culture. I purchased a starter package on ebay and when it arrived I transferred the contents to two containers prepped with a potato flake mixture. After a week I see no active worms and the mixture is taking on a pinkish hue. I am guessing I need to start over with a different source of the starter.
