  9. Hi, my Betta has been acting weird the past two days. Laying around a lot but still coming to the surface for air. Still eating fine but being very lethargic. The water parameters are 7.0 PH, 0 nitrates, 0 nitrite , 0 ammonia and the tank is 78 degrees. What should I do??
  10. Hello, I have been looking a different aquascaping styles and keep on seeing this light. Does any one know what brand it is?
  11. Hey guys, does anyone else have this great light from Hiro aquatics? Looks really nice and seems to get the job done. It’s not the best light on the market but seems to be good for nano plant tanks. What are your thoughts?

  13. Hi, I’m new to the forum and was having some trouble with algae in some new aquascapes. These tank have new plants in them and More to come but I am still working on the balancing process of these aquascapes, my dwarf hairgrass tank Has grown some thick algae on the top within like seven hours. I just gotten back from school and looked at my tank and all the algae had just grown. Since these are new tanks I’m assuming they have a lot of micro nutrients which is causing the algae to grow. I was thinking maybe the pressurized C02would have the plants out complete the algae. Is there a way I can keep this algae At bay and have a lush carpet? Also my Beta cube tank has some brown algae growing on the Bacopa.
  14. Normally you don’t refill a tank you trade, this tank is fairly new and I take it to a place called “Airgas” to trade it out. Pressurized co2 is the best but I have never tried citric acid, maybe I should give it a go. You can do it home made with like some plastic bottles or I would recommend the Aquario NEO CO2 - DIY CO2 Kit. Never used it but looks good.
  15. I am using a pressurized CO2 system with a 5 pound CO2 tank. Also I bought a double bubble counter regulator so I can split the CO2 into the two cube tanks. Your way better off buying every thing separately then to get a kit.
  16. Thanks, I have just orders some S reopens for that’s tank and it’s coming tomorrow. Thank you, I was having trouble keeping dust and debris of the plants from the fluval stratum. Glade you like them!!
  17. Hi I’m new to this form, and have been a good fan of aquarium co-op for a long time. I have also been in the hobby for about 2 years now. I just setup some new aquascapes and wanted some opinions on them. Is any thing I should fix or do? There brand new.
