I have about 10 furcata rainbowfish fry that are about half an inch long in a grow out tank. when do you think they would be safe to move to my main tank with the adults?

I have actually had the same issue, it seemed like some sort of build up happened in the pump. I tried taking it off and the pump piece popped off and I noticed some of the fertilizer appeared to have solidified in the pump head. any recommendations would be appreciated

Resource for algae.
thank you for your help. I wasn't sure since it really doesn't have the hair that I see in some of the pictures, but that website certainly shows exactly what I have. I have lowered the level on my lights so hopefully that helps.

I haven't seen this algae well labeled online. it doesn't have the hair that I see with the black beard algae. any ideas of what it is and how to get rid of it? started just on the anubius shown here, and now I am seeing it on a few other plants in the tank like another anubius and some on an amazon sword. thanks in advance,
David

Does anyone have good recommendations for books on aquariums and fish in general? I would love something that goes into different species of fish and general facts about them as well as any other resources for learning.
thanks in advance,
David

thank you both @Colu and @KBOzzie59. I had never seen this behavior before and it freaked me out.

I just found one of my albino corydoras burying its head in the sand. was in there a ways and haven't seen this behavior before. is this a common behavior with corydoras? does this tell me something is wrong?
thanks,
David
Neon tetra type

I got three of this neon tetra about 2 years ago, and only have one of this type left. Does anyone know what kind of neon tetra it is? I was told it was a gold neon tetra, but haven’t seen any similar photos recently.
