What do you have in your tank? You may not need to worry about the heat.

What are your parameters and stocking on that 29? If it's new and not cycled for your stock level you could be changing out your bacterial bloom you need. And with any ammonia in your tap water you're going to want to do few water changes as possible.

Wow 3 ft tall! I would be so proud to achieve that especially in my 8 gallon.😄
You have a very healthy looking Amazon Sword but mine doesn't quite look the same.
I will attach a photo to show you just how abnormal mine looks.I am no stranger to growing garden plants indoors under lights and a common thing that happens when you don't have a strong enough light is that the plants stretch and get very lanky. I think that is what happened to my Amazon Sword but the strange thing is that there is another Amazon Sword right next to it that didn't grow in the same way, so it could also be a genetic thing?
Could you also let me know what fish that is on the right. The orange one. It looks like a cichlid of some sort. I have always wanted to get a Flower Horn. That tall one on the right looks like my Argentine sword I got from a Petco.

I let them go crazy, keeps the fish poop cleaned off of everything.
How does that geo like living with discus?

This is why Cory hates canisters!

I use bdbs on my 100 gal planted tank. With my bioload I don't use liquid fert but have inserted 20 plus root tabs. My giant amazon sword is still showing deficiency so still adding tabs. Thinking I may try dosing macros soon.

Looks like I'll be pulling Otos out. I'm glad noone thinks fungus or bacterial.

Oh all their undersides look fine.

Had to break out the API kit, didn't have time last night. 0 ammonia, and I found that my CO2 is bringing my pH down to 7.6 during the day.
I just found a dead oto that looks like he had been chewed on too. So I think you are right HH Morant they're abrasions.
I have the others in my quarantine tank but I've had trouble treating catfish in the past. They are sensitive to some meds.
Does anyone have experience with a blue eye lemon pleco being super aggressive? That's the other catfish I left off the list and the only thing that I have that I would think is capable of doing this.

100 gal discus community tank. 5 small discus, tetras, bumblebee cats, salt n pepper Cory's, giant oto, and regular Otos. One of the oto is missing its tail, the attached pic shows another oto with something I need help identifying.
40 nitrate
0 nitrite
8 pH
85 degrees
CO2 injection 2 bps
Airstone
How much salt can I put in a 100 gal planted tank?
I have the 2 Otos in my 10 gal quarantine with ERYTHROMYCIN now.

So my 2 year old poured some bubble solution in my 25 gal patio pond. Dosed 10 mil of prime and water changing till there's no more bubbles tonight. I'll update if there's any losses. All endlers. Trying to use nutgrass as a bog filter and working so far. I have to dose easy green to get nitrates to even register. Crazy hard water so I use dehumidifier water for topoffs.

Can you post a full tank shot?
What's your water parameters?
What was your fertilizer schedule?
Are your lights on a timer?
Crypts will melt when put in new water. Are you getting new leaves?
Been doing water changes but ammonia levels are not going down

Ok. I would recommend a quick forum search on the nitrogen cycle. Or someone that has the link handy can send it to you. Unless you put one of your filters from another tank you don't have a cycled aquarium.
