  1. Your fish are so colorful. I can't wait to hear how breeding goes. Here are some things to watch out for.

Make sure you know what to do with all of the fry. Your tank is big enough for the bettas now, but when you start breeding them, just make sure you have a plan.

Next, watch out for inbreeding. Inbreeding could lead to slower growth and sensitivity in some of the fry.

  2. Hi Sebastian,

This depends on what you currently have in your tank. Some fish may pick on the shrimp or just swallow them whole. Make a list of what fish you have and we can see if they are compatible with freshwater shrimp.

Shrimp can be very helpful because they are constantly eating algae and keeping your water clean. They are also really fun to watch.

  3. I agree with FrostiesFishes.

Angelfish are a type of cichlid. Though that does not mean they are very aggressive, they can eat any fish that fits in its mouth.

There is not really any way to keep the angelfish from eating the neon tetras, even if you feed them well. You should be fine for about a year or so, but after that, you should remove the neon tetras if you want them to live.
