  1. Im new to this forum, hello all. Happy to have found you! Question being, has anyone used biomax 'cylinders' to plant by placing the plant into the inside of the biomax, then inserting into substrate? I have a bunch of unused biomax and am wondering if this would help stabilize/weight down the plant and possibly even lend some protection to the new roots? Im using a coarser substrate thank id ideally like, 0.5cm diameter approx. and i feel it holds the plants less well than finer substrate such as sand. In any event - the biomax surely is better off in the tank than in the container on the shelf. If im nuts?- go ahead, let me have it. 😉 Great to be here, and thanks in advance for any thoughts and wisdom.
