Thanks for the reassurance. I really like these fish, they're personalble, they respond if I put my face up close. One will let me put my finger in the water next to him if I have a fish flake. I've only see huge Koi act like that.

I've jumped in to this hobby with some Dalmatian Mollies, otos and Cherry Barbs. I was surprised with some babies in my first tank (10 gallon). I never saw a gravid spot but there they are! I've kept both tanks at 8.0-8.4 pH. Should I be reducing to 7.6-7.8?

Hi from Salt Lake City Utah!! This is my first post on CARE. I started my first fish tank about six weeks ago. After listening to Cory and Irene and many others I have set up a second tank. I'm hooked.
