  1. Just retested the water. ammonia-0, nitrite-0, nitrate-0. Now they're all sitting at the top breathing rapidly.
  2. Apologies if there's a similar post or if I'm doing this incorrectly. I recently purchased some new giant sized? female guppies and one is sitting on the substrate fins clamped and the other is at the surface with the top fin clamped. They're eating and will only move if another fish bothers them. I had .25 ammonia two days ago and performed water changes each day. I'm curious if it's ammonia burn, stress, or some infection. I'm hoping it's just ammonia burn. But I don't want to throw meds at them and stress them more if it's not needed. PH- 7.6 Ammonia-0 nitrites-0 nitrates-5 temp-78 kh-40ppm gh-30ppm gh/kh with api test strips
