Jeeperscreepersmyth
Is anyone aware of measuring spoons corresponding to various tank sizes to dose safe? Is any mathmatizer willing to tell me a weight measurement that can be weighed on the standard $10 digital weed scale for 10,20,30, and 55 gallon tanks? Pic of my favorite little buddy as thanks. MJV Aquatics
I'm on a well so my water does not have any chlorine/chloramine so I only have safe on hand for potential ammonia spikes (that may occur for example if/when a dead fish goes unnoticed). In those cases I use a 1/8 and 1/4 measuring spoons and add the amount appropriate for the size of the tank. I mix with water in a deli cup before pouring into the tank. It works because slight overkill to neutralize ammonia has never seemed to be a problem. Maybe you simply need small measuring spoons and make a simple chart? starsman20
Seachem makes a Digital Spoon Scale Aquarium Supplement Dosing Tool. Works well for me. Most of the meds give a weight to use.
