Although, if you have a rather deep tank, like a 55 or bigger, you might consider the larger one if your intake doesn't go down too far to begin with. ChemBob Posted February 8, 2021 Share Posted February 8, 2021 I initially ordered the large for a 20 gal high and by Fluval 207 canister. The large was way too big. I now am running the medium as of this weekend. It fits well, and likely it will work better than the much finer and slightly smaller prefilter I was running before.
