Darth Nerm
Well, I just found my largest and oldest platy dead. Not sure why, no nitrite, ammonia, or chlorine, and like ~20 nitrates. The only thing I can think of is that last week he got a little bit of white on his back, I treated it and then I thought it went away. he also seems to have a little chunk out of his tail fin, but it just looks like normal wear and tear. He was alive and seemingly well yesterday. Now, unfortunately, he is dead. Rip Sonny. Chris
That sucks! Sometimes it's just a matter of age. I've got a swordtail in my 55 that's pretty obviously circling the drain. She's about 3, though, and I've kept the tank pretty warm for her entire life. Sometimes, it's just time!
Whitecloud09
Aww man, sorry for your loss, RIP Sonny. Most likely age, like @Chris said though.
Darth Nerm
Yeah, it could be. I’ve only had him like a year, though, so idk. Thanks everyone!
