Scaperoot
I recently recommended Easy Green to someone and they asked me what my TDS levels are in my tanks. I had never heard of TDS before. I found an article on the 2 HR Aquarist page, but I never thought to test before. So, how do you test TDS levels and do you really need to if you're checking regularly for nitrates, nitrites, ammonia, ph?
MWilk
TDS is total dissolved solids, measured by a conductivity meter usually. Not everything can be tested for, or is difficult to individually test. You’ll never notice the things building up over time that you don’t test for. This is why water changes are done, to start over.
