Quick Spot Check on Rummynose

Water parameters are good, tested with newly purchased ACOOP strip:

TDS 264, Nitrate 50, nitrite 0, ammonia 0.

There is a rummynose in my 20 gal high that has something hanging out of him.  I assume it is likely poop, but figured I’d check in with the experts in case it is something more concerning (parasite?) and I should be QT’ing and so forth.

Tank has been set up for over a year. Feel like I have it dialed in (ish). I have cherry shrimp in there so generally I try small changes and a time.

Tank Occupants:

8 rummynose

8 ember tetras

cherry shrimp

I appreciate any thoughts, comments.

TIA

It looks like poop to me. I would worry if it was white and stringy. Your rummynose tetra looks nice and healthy. @Macready
