Anyone Know what this Reddish-Purple Growth is?

Is this reddish-purple growth on the heater, the back of the aquarium, and the rock an unusual algae or is it something else? Any help would be appreciated.

Is it easy to remove? What's the texture? Kinda looks like the early stages of some beard or brush algae.

It was easy to remove with an Aquarium Coop Algae Pad.

How long has it been since it first showed up? It could also be cyanobacteria but I can't be too sure cause I've never seen this in my tank.

At times, I’ve tried to attack bba with hydrogen peroxide. After a day or 2, it will start to die and turn that color on your heater. Did you clean your heater? I know it’s a long shot, but it’s immediately where my brain went.

It’s either Cyanobacteria (blue green algae) or the very beginnings of black beard. I’ve had that exact stuff several times. It’s never gotten out of control as long as I kept on top of scrubbing it off the glass.
