Creedmoor Aquatics
Has anyone ever tried purposefully adding shrimp, like neocaridina, to their canister filter to help break down the solids? If so, was it effective? Any lessons learned along the way?
Markp2483
I have an ada knockoff stainless canister. Don’t use it currently but when I did I would end up with tons of shrimp in the filter. They didn’t mind it but made cleaning the sponges a pain. Think paning for gold but with shrimp. They don’t really cut down on any maintenance or time between cleaning .
