Little Guys
I believe my shirmp babies are being eaten. I put two berried mom's into a breeding area (net with water flow through) in the same tank. This will also help me to feed them and not the rest of my aquarium which needs to be cut back. Do I need to put a small filter near the breeding net? flossy
The fry shouldn't be being eaten if they are in a net in the same tank. The only possibilities I see is that the shrimp are falling through the holes in the net.
NOLANANO
Do you have a planted tank? If you do, I would honestly say the shrimplets would have a good chance of living in the main tank given the opportunity to hide in some moss or something like that so long as you don't have a ton of predators in the tank. In a net they should live no problem. Some shrimp get berried and drop their first clutch of eggs without hatching them. They get better at it as they get practice.
