Is that what you did, to have this effect? I Yes. Just nip off stems close to the base of stems that are reaching too high on Tiger Lotus and soon enough they stop shooting for the top. I trim stems and leaves in my tank every week. I look at my Tiger Lotus leaves closely. As they start to get ragged or have holes they get removed as well as ones that might have a bit of algae starting on them, or ones that are casting too much shade on other plants or are just not attractive, or if I am just getting too many of them.. I also ruthlessly thin the Val to keep it from taking over. The L repens gets shortened by about 4 inches every week, the cardinal Lobelia gets shortened every 3-4 weeks…my Pink Flamingo Crypt needs some pruning as well to reduce its stature a bit… 1 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
