Helpwithmy_snailpls
I been feeding my betta wet pallets and not dry for awhile now to prevent bloating and stuff like that but if there mold in the filter I don’t wanna soak the food in that water and feed it to him it’s like feeding him mold so should I go back to dry feeding
TheChosenOne
I'll be honest everything in that photo looks perfectly normal. Hard water deposits. I remember they would appear at the top of my filters way back in the day when i still used deposable cartridges.

TheChosenOne
if the food isn't expired, doesn't smell bad, doesn't look strange I don't see any reason not to. The water possibly having mold in it, (which I don't think you're dealing with based on what I'm seeing but I'm not there. ) The water in the tank is the same water the fish is living in so soaking the food in it can't cause any additional harm.
