ChickenAndWaffle
Hi, I need help identifying some worms that I purchased at my LFS. They were sold to me as tubifex, but based on a video from Cory about tubifex worms, I'll probably toss them if they are truly tubifex. They look like California blackworms. Can someone confirm? They are like a reddish brown. Not nearly as pink as a bloodworm. Thanks! Edited September 24, 2023 by ChickenAndWaffle
TheSwissAquarist
Tubifex tend to be a sort of whitish color in my opinion. @Guppysnail does a lot of worm cultures .
ChickenAndWaffle
I added them to a bin of water and they began separating. Is that a sign they are not tubifex? However, they are quite red. From online videos, tubifex worms stay in a clump: Also, does anyone know how to quarantine blackworms?
