Honey Gourami Identification/sexing

Hi all I just got these 2 from an LFS yesterday and was wondering what type/ sex they are.  thank you!

Those are actually not honey gourami but thick lipped gourami. Stores often label them as "red honey gourami" but they are a seperate species from a honey. It does look like you have a male and a female. You can tell by the dorsal fin. Males have a pointed dorsal and females rounded. Here's my 2 thick lipped gourami.

And Sally with the rounded dorsal 

 

I have entire back stories for them. You don't wanna know lol

Ah, I see! thank you so much :)) was mainly hoping they were male/female to avoid conflict in the tank!

They are very peaceful fish but yes that does make things even more peaceful.
