Cinnebuns
Im so jelly. I tried to breed mine but no success. I did find a fry once but I don't think it made it. I see them spawning every now and then but I think eggs and/or fry is being eaten. Very cool tho! Edited February 28, 2023 by Cinnebuns

From what I read, they either scatter the eggs in the water column, or dig in the sand under or near rocks. One thing I noticed; the big female stayed on a terracotta log for about three days chasing everyone away from the area. About 2 weeks after I saw the fry. A few days ago, a younger female stayed on a rock behaving the same way. Will have to keep an eye out for new fry in a week or two. If you have good hiding spots like driftwood moss plants etc some should make it. The only bottom dwellers I have are the hillstreams and a couple ottos. My angel will go down and look now and then but he doesn't seem interested. Not to mention too many plants in the way. The babies are taking on the triangular hillstream shape now 🐠🐟 1
