I can’t remember there being any shrimp in Peru…more in Asia I think.

There are Amazonian shrimp! They are very cool, when I was reasrching stocking for my South American biotope, I found a few species, mostly macrobrachium.

I was thinking about getting some of these(https://www.aqua-imports.com/product/amazon-tiger-shrimp/) but I settled with Cherry shrimp instead because they were easier to get 😂

My Granddad (I was named after him, and he’s my Grandaquarist 😜) keeps Macrobrachium Assamense…supposed to be easy to breed!

I’m planning on getting a species of macro for the mudskipper tank (here in Maryland we have native brackish grass shrimp)

Have you put some of those in, or are they too big?

I’m no where near the bay/ salt marshes : ( it’s like an hour drive and it’s starting to get really cold(today the low was -1C)

They are basically the same as ghost shrimp from what I’ve heard (they may even be the same species sold as some feeder shrimp)
