Stan Z
Has anybody experienced this curling of the leaves?
TheSwissAquarist
Maybe try root tabs to ‘feed’ the plant, as I’ve seen this when I put an Amazon sword in a new tank: there just isn’t enough nutrients in the substrate for it!
Mitch_ScruffyCityAquatics
Swords are nutrient hogs. Plan on using two the three times the root tabs you would use for anything else. I place two tabs a month near mine.

I recently rested some Root Tabs on the substrate near one of my swords in my dads display tank, the plant found it by day 6 and had cocooned it by day 38. It was immensely satisfying to watch! TeeJay
Yes they will tear some root tabs up. My swords are up to 3 root tabs under each a month.
Stan Z
Thanks for the advice. The plants have in there around 2 weeks or so. I did put tabs in there once, but one for each.
TeeJay
They do seem to be of decent size so they could be ready for another root tab each. In this pic you can see my main sword in the back center. It gets 3 tabs a month now lol
