JessicaK
I have a Java Moss in my 5-gallon betta tank. At the moment, it is receiving light on about a quarter of the moss. I think that I need to remedy this, but this is a dark water set up, with a fair amount of foliage. It had been in a smaller aquarium, with very little light abstruction. It was actually growing! I didn't think it would grow so quickly! What do I need to give this moss so that it will continue to thrive, despite the transfer to fuller aquarium? TIA! TheSwissAquarist
Try and replicate the same conditions in the new aquarium. Dark water may be a problem… maybe halve the moss and put one half in the new tank to see how it does.
