BAT
My Golden Nesea seems to be doing well - but i noticed what i think are roots coming out from the shoots in the middle of the plant. See pic. Is that normal?
JoeQ
Ive never kept that but with stems my opinion is that if they develop roots from the exposed portion of the stem they are thriving! JettsPapa
I'm not familiar with that plant, but with other stem plants I've had you can cut the stem below those roots and plant the cut off portion. The original plant will sprout new growth from the node below the cut. I assume the same is true for this one.

Roots or not, most stems you can top, then plant and both stems will grow.
