Plant-master Posted March 31, 2022 Share Posted March 31, 2022 Hi, I want to try to start out a walstad type aquarium and want to try some plants that can grow above the tanks surface. Looking for house plant types. Plants I know so far are pothos, spider plant, and lucky bamboo. Any "houseplant" that is currently growing terrestrial will need to grow new water roots so I know some people will trim the roots back to an inch and then put it in water and remove the roots that rot while growing new water roots. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
